Add post_id to the [abprf-post] shortcode to show one rental item’s detail view instead of the full listing. This item is set to the Grid/List Template, so the plugin loads that detail layout automatically. Options: post_id.
[abprf-post post_id="273"]
What happens when you pass a post ID?
Without post_id, [abprf-post] renders the rental listing without the booking wrapper. With post_id, the listing is replaced by that single item’s detail view. The plugin loads the same detail template as [abprf-booking post_id]; the shortcode name only decides how you start the page.
The plugin reads the item’s Template setting to decide which detail layout to load. You do not pass a template name in the shortcode — just the post ID, and RentalForge picks the right view automatically.
- Grid/List Template — the default single-item detail view used by most rental items.
- Group Template — an alternative detail view for grouped or multi-unit items.
This page uses Motor Bike (post ID 273), which is configured with the Grid/List Template. Open the Group Template demo from the Post List menu to compare.
How to change an item’s template
- Open the rental item in the WordPress admin.
- Find the Template dropdown in the item settings.
- Choose Grid/List Template or Group Template, then update the item.
