RentalForge Order List Overview

👤 My Account Bookings

RentalForge adds a dedicated "My Bookings" tab to the WooCommerce My Account page. This lets each logged-in customer see every rental booking they have placed — rental period, items, prices, payment method and status — without needing to contact you or open a support ticket.

⚙️ How It Works

  • 👉 The tab is registered automatically as a WooCommerce account endpoint — no setup required.
  • 👉 It appears in the My Account navigation menu right after Orders.
  • 👉 Only the currently logged-in customer's own bookings are shown. Guests are asked to log in first.
  • 👉 The list loads with the same responsive rental design used across the frontend.

📄 Where to Find It

  • 👉 Log in as a customer and open the WooCommerce My Account page: yoursite.com/my-account/.
  • 👉 Click the My Bookings link in the account menu (after Orders).
  • 👉 A direct link also works: yoursite.com/my-account/abprf-bookings/.

🧾 What Each Booking Shows

  • 👉 Rental title & image — the booked post / property with its SKU if enabled.
  • 👉 Order ID & order date.
  • 👉 Rental period — start and end date & time, plus the current rent status badge (Pending, Waiting, In Rent, Completed, Delay, Canceled).
  • 👉 Duration & rate rule — total rental duration and the applied pricing rule (Hourly, Daily, Monthly, etc.).
  • 👉 Location — the pickup location when the Location module is enabled.
  • 👉 Booked items — each property/quantity with its price.
  • 👉 Additional services — extra services booked with the order, when the module is enabled.
  • 👉 Client information — the values collected from the client form, when the module is enabled.
  • 👉 Price breakdown — Rent, Additional, Deposit (each shown when enabled / greater than zero) and the Total.
  • 👉 Payment method — the gateway used for the order.
  • 👉 Order status badge — the WooCommerce order status (Processing, Completed, etc.).

📑 Pagination

  • Bookings are shown with pagination, using the same Items Per Page value as the admin order list.
  • Customers can move between pages without reloading the whole account layout.

📄 Download PDF pro

  • 👉 When the Pro plugin and ABP PDF Tools add-on are active, a Download PDF button is shown on every booking.
  • 👉 It generates the same branded booking PDF that administrators can create from the order list.

🔌 Developer Hooks

  • 👉 abprf_my_account_booking_actions — receives the booking row; use it to print extra action buttons for each booking.
  • 👉 abprf_my_account_partial_payment — receives the booking row; use it to show partial payment / balance information.
💡 The My Bookings tab requires WooCommerce to be active. The Download PDF button appears only when RentalForge Pro and the ABP PDF Tools add-on are both installed and active.

➕ Add Order From Dashboard

The Add Order feature allows administrators to create rental orders directly from the dashboard without requiring customers to complete the checkout process. This is ideal for phone bookings, walk-in customers, offline reservations, and custom rental arrangements.

Using the same booking experience available on the frontend, administrators can easily select rental items, choose start and end dates and times, configure booking details, and generate orders within a few clicks.

💡 With this feature you can create and manage orders without leaving the administration dashboard, giving you full control over the booking process.
  • Create rental orders directly from the admin dashboard.
  • No online payment is required to create an order.
  • Select any available rental item or listing with ease.
  • Use the same date, time, and availability selection system available on the frontend.
  • Add custom customer information, including name, email, phone number, and billing details.
  • Send booking notifications to any custom email address during order creation.
  • Perfect for manual bookings, corporate reservations, and offline rental management.
  • Quickly create and manage orders without leaving the dashboard.

This feature provides complete flexibility for rental businesses, allowing administrators to efficiently manage both online and offline bookings from a single centralized dashboard.

  2. Items that use the global default will follow these rules automatically.

PriceSet the price of the service. You can define fixed prices or a price range.

  2. Save the settings. The service becomes available on the booking form of items that use the global additional services.

  2. Save the settings. The form is displayed on the booking page of every item that inherits the global form.

✂️ Global Discount pro

The Discount section lives under RentalForge → Global Configuration and is available with the RentalForge Pro version. It defines site-wide Seasonal and Early Bird discounts that every rental item inherits automatically — you can still override them for a single item or property afterwards.

💡 Availability: this tab appears only when the Pro plugin is active. The blocks below also require their global switches under Global Configuration → ON/OFF (Global Seasonal Discount and Global Early Bird Discount).

🌤️ Global Seasonal Discount

  3. Property level: Properties & Pricing tab overrides discounts for a single property
  4. Click Save Global Discount — the discounted prices are applied everywhere immediately.
⚠️ Same-type rules override one another from narrowest to widest scope: property → item (post) → global. If you want a different behaviour for one property, set a property-specific range instead of the global one.

Terms & Conditions explain your booking rules to customers. The global text below is applied to every rental item automatically unless an item defines its own.

AnswerProvide a clear and concise answer for the question.
OrderDrag or set the order in which the questions are displayed.
  1. Click Add FAQ and enter the question and answer.
  2. Save the settings. The FAQ section appears on items that inherit the global FAQ.

🏘️ RentalForge – Global Category Configuration

Here you can create, update, and delete RentalForge categories easily. You will also find category shortcodes, category details, and many other Options.

💡 Categories help you organize your rental items into logical groups, making them easier to browse and filter on the frontend. Each category also generates its own shortcode that you can place anywhere.
  1. Type Your Category Name here.
  2. Click to Save Category.

📍 RentalForge – Global Location Configuration

Here you can create, update, and delete RentalForge locations easily. Locations are used as start / end points for bookings and for filtering properties across the site. You will also find location shortcodes and many other options.

Field / OptionWhat it does
Location NameType the name of the location, e.g. "New York - Downtown".
ShortcodeEach location provides a shortcode that you can place on any page to show the properties available at that location.
LatitudeThe latitude coordinate of this location, e.g. 40.7128. Used by geo-based search.
LongitudeThe longitude coordinate of this location, e.g. -74.0060. Used by geo-based search.
Service Radius (km)How far this location serves around its coordinates. Properties match a nearby search when they fall inside this radius.
Polygon (Area)Define a custom service area by pasting one lat,lng pair per line, e.g. 40.7100,-74.0100. A point inside the drawn polygon matches this location. Leave empty to use coordinates + radius only.

  2. Optionally add Latitude, Longitude, Service Radius or a Polygon (one lat,lng pair per line).
  3. Click to Save Location.
  4. Drop the location shortcode into a page or widget to display its properties. Geo fields also power radius / polygon searches in the post, property and booking shortcodes.

🏷️ RentalForge – Global Brand Configuration

Field / OptionWhat it does
Brand NameType the name of the brand, e.g. "Toyota" or "Bosch".
DescriptionOptionally add a short description of the brand.
  1. Type Your Brand Name here.
  2. Click to Save Brand.
  3. The brand becomes selectable when creating or editing a property.

🔗 RentalForge – Global Feature Configuration

Features are the highlighted points you want customers to see about your items (e.g. "Free cancellation", "Air conditioning", "24/7 support"). Creating them globally lets you reuse the same features on every rental item.

Field / OptionWhat it does
Feature TitleGive a short name to the feature, e.g. "Free Cancellation".
IconOptionally choose an icon that will be displayed next to the feature.
  1. Type Your Feature Name here.
  2. Click to Save Feature.
  3. The feature appears on items that inherit the global feature list.

💰 Partial Payment pro

The Partial Payment feature lets customers pay only a part of the total booking price at checkout and settle the remaining balance later. It is available with the RentalForge Pro version. The amount due now can be a percentage of the total, a fixed amount, or the property deposit amount — set globally and overridden per rental item.

💡 Availability: Partial Payment must first be turned on under Global Configuration → ON/OFF (Partial Payment switch). While the switch is OFF, no item charges a partial amount and the full price is collected at checkout.

🌐 Global Configuration → Partial Payment

The site-wide calculation method is configured under RentalForge → Global Configuration → Partial Payment. It is used by any item that has Partial Payment enabled but no value of its own.

Field / OptionWhat it does
Partial Payment TypeHow the amount due now is calculated: Percentage of the total booking price, a Fixed amount, or the property Deposit Amount.
Partial Payment ValueThe percentage or fixed amount used by the selected type. Ignored when the type is Deposit Amount.

📝 Per-Item Override (Post Management → Partial Payment)

Each rental item has a Partial Payment Configuration tab so you can control it individually.

Field / OptionWhat it does
Partial PaymentEnable or disable Partial Payment for this specific item. Disabled = the full amount is charged at checkout.
Partial Payment TypePercentage, Fixed or Deposit Amount for this item.
Partial Payment ValueThe percentage or fixed amount for this item. Leave it empty to fall back to the Global Configuration → Partial Payment configuration.
💡 The Deposit Amount type is available only while the Deposit feature is enabled, and it charges the property deposit as the amount due now.

🛒 Checkout Behaviour

  • 👉 On the cart and checkout, the customer can choose the Full amount or the Partial amount.
  • 👉 When Partial is chosen, a fee line named “Partial Payment : Balance Due Later” is added to reduce the amount charged now, and the remaining balance is recorded on the order.
  • 👉 The order is marked with the Partial Payment (wc-partial) status so you can filter partial orders in the order list.

📦 Admin Order List

  • 👉 The order list shows the Paid (deposit) and Due (balance) amounts for every partial order.
  • 👉 Use the Mark Received button to settle the outstanding balance when the customer pays it.

👤 My Account Bookings

  • 👉 The customer's My Account → My Bookings tab shows the Payment Option, the Paid deposit, the Due balance and the balance paid date.
  • 👉 A Pay Due Payment button lets the customer pay the remaining balance later, which creates a due-payment order and clears the outstanding amount.
⚠️ Turn the Partial Payment ON/OFF switch off to completely disable the feature site-wide. Turn it off for a single item (or turn off the Master switch) to always charge the full amount at checkout.

🌐 Global Configuration Overview

Global Configuration is the single settings area of RentalForge. It holds the system-wide defaults of the plugin — values set here apply to every property automatically, and a single property can still override them from its own settings. Everything is grouped as a vertical list of sub-tabs on the left, so you manage the whole site from one screen.

🔑 RentalForge - License Activation pro

The Pro version needs a license key to unlock PDF, E-mail, CSV, Discount, Location Stock and all other premium features. Follow the steps below and everything will be ready in a minute.

🛒 1. Get your license key

  • 👉 Buy RentalForge Pro from the ABP Team store and log in to your account.
  • 👉 Open the Downloads / Licenses page in your account.
  • 👉 Copy the license key shown there (it looks like XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX).

⚙️ 2. Activate the license

Activate on your live website — not on a demo or staging site. Each key is locked to the site where it is first activated and allows a limited number of activations. Activating on a staging site consumes a slot and will not license your live site.

  • 👉 Go to the RentalForge Dashboard and find the License card in the sidebar.
  • 👉 Paste your license key in the License Key field.
  • 👉 Click Activate License.
  • 👉 A green Active badge confirms your key is working.

📋 3. Understand the status

StatusMeaning
ActiveThe license is valid and all Pro features are unlocked.
InactiveA key has not been activated yet — enter your key and activate.
InvalidThe key is wrong or does not belong to this product.
ExpiredThe license period has ended. Renew your license to continue using Pro features.
Expiry dateShows the date until which the license is valid.
Deactivate LicenseUse this when moving the site to a new domain so the key can be activated elsewhere.

🔄 4. Move to another site

  • 👉 From the old site: open the RentalForge Dashboard → License card → Deactivate License.
  • 👉 From the new site: activate the same key again.
  • 👉 Auto-updates are handled through the store — renew your license to keep receiving updates.
  1. Copy the key from your ABP Team account.
  2. Paste it in the License card on the RentalForge Dashboard.
  3. Click Activate License and confirm the Active badge.

🧩 RentalForge: Templating

RentalForge provides a powerful template override system that allows you to customize plugin design, classes, icons, and frontend structure according to your requirements.

📁 How the template override works

To start customizing, copy the rf_templates folder from the RentalForge plugin directory and paste it into your wp-content directory. Once added, RentalForge will automatically load your custom templates instead of the default plugin templates.

You only need to keep the template files you intend to modify. Remove all unnecessary files from the copied folder. Otherwise, future plugin updates or new features may conflict with overridden templates and may cause unexpected issues on your site.

This override system requires basic knowledge of WordPress templating and PHP development. Therefore, make changes carefully and only edit files you fully understand.

⚠️ Keep only the template files you intend to modify — leaving unused overrides in place can conflict with future plugin updates or new features.
